Symphonic Band The symphonic band is formed at the end of marching season. Auditions are held for chair placement. This ensemble is an advanced course and will involve students who are highly proficient on their instruments. The course requires serious dedication and practice. Rehearsals are held during school with sectionals, rehearsals, and clinics being scheduled regularly outside of the school day. Attendance at extra sectionals, rehearsals, and clinics is mandatory. The Symphonic Band also performs at a number of concerts and competitions throughout the school year. Attendance for concerts and competitions is also mandatory.
