fundraising opportunities for students and parents:

New Scrip Ordering Process!
A new scrip ordering process for Legacy Bands is here! All you have to do is fill out an online order form and send a printout of your order and your check to school (or hand deliver it to the Scrips Coordinator). This is how it works.Our new process is as follows:
1) Sign in to ShopWithScrip.com. You will need the Legacy Band’s enrollment code of EBLDD56A15286 to complete this.
2) Place scrip order BEFORE Thursday at midnight.
3) Print out your order once complete.
4) Send copy of order plus check to school for payment of scrips on Friday made payable to LEGACY BAND BOOSTERS.
5) Receive scrips back as early as following Wednesday or as late as the following Friday.
Please note that all discounts shown are full discounts provided by Great Lakes Scrip Center. The Band Boosters receive 1% of every order to cover the cost of shipping. The rest of the discount is credited to your student's band account.

• We now have a credit card machine so that you may pay any remaining debts
using your credit or debit cards! Please contact Finance@LegacyBands.org) to pay any debts that still may be owed. Trips,
hoodies, etc. may all now be paid with credit! Earn "miles" while you pay for
band stuff!!!
• It has recently been brought to our attention that you may be able to designate
Legacy Bands as one of your pretax contribution designations. As a
non-profit organization, the Legacy Band organization may qualify for company
matching programs and most certainly, employee contribution program (pre-tax
dollars).
The program we are familiar with is processed through the United Way
program. The United Way program makes contributions on your behalf
quarterly, is our understanding. If this is something you are interested in or
would like more information, please contact your benefits or Human Resources
department to determine whether you have the ability to designate Legacy
Bands as a donation/contribution source or can work it through the current
United Way program offered at your organization. Your benefits department
would be able to determine whether you have the ability to make a single
contribution or make payroll deductions to the United way or a similar source
and make the band designation. We surely appreciate any support you can
give the band in the future.
• Invesco Booths at Bronco Games: We staff 2 booths – Beer and Pizza - at every home Bronco football game (regular season and pre-season games) at Invesco. There are sign-up sheets in the band room for parents and students to volunteer or contact one of the fundraising board members.
• Dippin' Dots: We staff Dippin' Dots booths at various sporting events at Invesco (including Bronco and Rapids games).
• Restaurant Nights: This is an easy way for band families and friends to support the band and enjoy a great meal together! Each month a local area restaurant has graciously agreed to contribute a portion of their proceeds to the band. This applies to all band families and friends who eat at the restaurant at the designated date and time. Check out some of our past sponsor restaurants: Outback Steakhouse, Wild Noodles, Gunther Toody's Diner, and Sweet Tomatoes. Be sure to check the band calendar for the Restaurant Night schedule.
• Decals: Purchase a decal to stick on the window of your car and show your support for Legacy Band! They're only $10, order forms are in the band room or you can download it here.
• Butter Braids: Students sell the popular butter braids during the fall season.
• Red Wheel Cookie Dough/Batter: Students sell delicious cookie dough, batter and various other goods from Red Wheel.
• Broomfield Days: The students march in the Broomfield Days parade and we also have a booth for selling Dippin' Dots, water, decals, and jerky.
• Cell phone and ink cartridge recycling: Turn in your old cell phones and ink cartridges to the band room to raise extra money for the band. |
